For over a decade, DeeOhGee has been playing, recording and touring across the US and Europe, building their fanbase the old fashion way: one person at a time. They cut their teeth in dive bars and honky-tonks, garages and street corners, always persevering, remaining true to their roots, and continuing to hone their unique style and sound. The band is Matthew Paige (Vocals, Guitar), Zack Murphy (Drums, Vocals) and Dylan Whitlow (Bass, Vocals). Their sound is inspired by a combination of blues, classic country, and rock-n-roll. A sound that is a throwback to the psychedelic sounds of the ‘60’s and 70’s with hints of both rhythm & blues and bluegrass. Their latest release, New Way of Life, is a collection of tunes “about how you adjust your way of looking at everything after you lose something or someone. You tend to cherish every detail of a day once someone is taken from you.”, says Matthew Paige. “This album is an honest reflection of where we are, a testimonial. A testimonial that happens to sound best at full volume.” So turn it on, turn it up. DeeOhGee is a loud explosion of authenticity and epic vibes. A guaranteed good time.
